Do research on improving the healthcare of millions.A Day in the LifeResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.Multi-tasking is an essential part of the role.Must Have: Minimum RequirementsMinimum of 4 years of experience of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experienceNice to HaveBS ElectronicsExcellent communication and team work experience.Previous repair/analysis work experienceMedical Device backgroundKnowledge using Windows-based computers, Word, Excel and Power PointExperience troubleshooting semi and fully automated systems including test, assembly and other process equipmentKnowledge of pneumatics and electro-pneumatics, instrumentation, PLC, laser, vision system, electric motors, controls, and electricity principles.Experience maintaining and troubleshooting laser welding processes.
