General Description 13;
Designs and develops internet sites or web components. Also implements software packages for web sites.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities 13;
Gathers feedback from design and technical staff on Web site development needs. Builds user interface applications and back:end databases using various programming and scripting languages. Assists in project planning and Website design. Gathers functional specifications and develops prototypes for Internet and Web:based projects. Creates technical methodologies for engineering solutions to Web:based development challenges. Collaborates with engineering personnel on specifics of projects, new technologies, and deadlines. Researches and helps determine new Web technologies to utilize, such as browsers, languages, and plug:ins, based on companys needs. Follow local and global technology trends, identifying opportunities for adoption and innovation.
Minimum Education 13;
Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science

Hands on experience with databases, SQL Web Services (REST/SOAP), and APIs

Knowledge in JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Web Programming Skills, Multimedia Content Development, is preferred

Experience in open:source programming languages for large scale data analysis is preferred

Experience with machine learning and relational databases is a plus
:
Experience with SAS, SPSS, Python, R or other programming languages is a plus

Ability to prototype visualizations is a plus

Ability to fluently speak, read and write English and Spanish
