Our size, scope and market leadership give you the chance to explore career opportunities — and grow as we grow.The nature of the activities required make this a full On-site PositionA Day in the LifeResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.Plans, performs, and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).Diagrams and evaluates existing processes to identify improvement opportunities.Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.Collects data to identify root cause of problems.Measures performance against process requirements.Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement, and control.Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.Communicates team progress.Performs cost and benefit analyses. Provides coaching and supports to site Lean Sigma Certification program for the site.Must Have: Minimum RequirementsBachelors degree requiredMinimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experiencein the use and implementation of Lean Sigma toolsNice to HaveProven experience working on cost out and capital investment projects.Six Sigma Black Belt CertificationProject Management ProfessionalExperience leading and facilitating Kaizen events to drive process improvement and cost reductions.Relevant experience with the implementation of Lean manufacturing tools and programsHigh financial acumen and analytical skillsStrong communication & presentation skills to engage various stakeholder groups.Ability to analyze and present insights from data.Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills, MS Project and Power BIExperience in regulated industries such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals.Validation experienceAbout MedtronicTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
