Come and join our communityGeneral DescriptionGeneral Description: The Region Credit Coordinator is an underwriter liaison between Retail Lending and the Region. Oversee that branches personnel perform all the consumer credit processes correctly, following the established procedures. Supports Region's administration strategies to achieve the goals. Also, is responsible for training the staff in all the Consumer Credit topics.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Support the region's credit goals achievement. :Participate in the monthly Region's meetings. :Visit branches monthly visit to share results, provide support, give coaching, and provide tools to improve service quality. :Communicate to region's employees: changes in process, new operational instructions and new products or services consumer credit topics. :Ensure branch employees perform the credit origination process accordingly with established procedures. :Monitor the applications' pipeline to ensure that branches are giving appropriate follow:up to the credit applications. :Serve as a Credit Trainer. :Review that all the consumer credit origination processes are well documented. :Address region's referrals for credit reconsiderations or other credit requests. :Collaborate with credit officer to support the underwriting group in the application's approval process.EducationBachelors degree completed from an accredited university or college.Experience:Two (2) years of experience as a Credit Officer evaluating Banco Popular consumer products (Personal Loans, Credit Cards, and Reserve Lines) :Management experience preferable as a branch or assistant branch manager Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA's): :Knowledge of the full consumer credit cycle, its laws, regulations, and policies, as well as the Consumer Credit Guidelines. :Intermediate experience in the ACAPS system. :Excellent analytical and logical capacity. :Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements. :Strong communications skills, oral and written, in English and Spanish, to all the organization's level. :Good negotiation and organization skills. :Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. :Capacity to establish priorities, handle multiple tasks and meet the established dates. :Ability to work under pressure, independently with minimal supervision. :Domain in Microsoft Programs: Excel, Word and Power Point.
