Gpac is seeking Sourcing Manager . In this role, you will be responsible for managing and sourcing pet food ingredients and materials for finished products. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field; a minimum of 3 years' experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or related field; experience in pet food/feed/or food and beverage sourcing; and a proven track record of successful vendor management and relationships. Responsibilities: Source pet food ingredient and other raw materials for products, including researching, evaluating, and negotiating with vendors. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors. Manage the development and implementation of processes to ensure compliance to pet product sourcing standards. Develop and manage the budget for pet product sourcing. Ensure that pet product sourcing activities meet all relevant regulatory and safety compliance standards. Monitor pet product market trends and pricing to identify potential opportunities and risks. Prepare and provide detailed reports on pet product purchasing activities to senior management. Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of pet ingredient and material products. Coordinate with external suppliers to ensure quality assurance of pet materials/products.
